Shipping Policy

COVID-19 Shipping Notice:

We strive to ship all orders out with 1-2 business days. However, The COVID-19 pandemic has caused staff and flight shortages at many mail processing facilities in the US and around the globe, resulting in increased delivery times. This applies to both domestic and international orders shipped via regular mail (USPS). We therefore recommend customers use FedEx or DHL for all time-sensitive orders at this time.

Domestic shipments via USPS
Starting October 1, 2021, USPS has increased its delivery time frame for 1st class mail packages. We now expect packages shipped via standard shipping (USPS 1st class mail) to arrive within 5-10 business days. Priority mail delivery times are generally 3-5 business days for domestic packages.

All shipping time frames provided by USPS are estimates, and packages may arrive faster, especially for local orders shipping to California, or be delayed by higher shipping volume over the holidays, COVID-19 closures, or extreme weather events.

International shipments via USPS
The postal and customs services in many countries are likewise experiencing delivery delays, which when compounded with domestic delays has resulted in parcels being delayed up to 2-3 weeks. As a result, we recommend using FedEx or DHL for all international orders at this time.

In addition, postal service to some countries has been temporarily suspended. An up-to-date list of suspended shipping locations can be found here. If you place an order with USPS shipping to a location where delivery is currently unavailable, you will be contacted by our customer service department with options to refund or suspend your order until mail service resumes. FedEx and DHL service is still available to these locations.

Shipping

Free standard shipping on US orders of $25 or more. Free shipping reflected at checkout. Does not apply to duties, taxes, and/or previously placed orders. Additional fees apply for express or overnight shipping, where available. We typically ship orders out within 1-2 business days. Made-to-order products (all custom-fit and custom-engraved earphones and accessories) require additional manufacturing time, which is noted on their respective product pages. Once an order is shipped, the delivery time depends on the chosen shipping method.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

International Shipping Information And Policy

We ship to most of the world, however, there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Due to recent events and shipping restrictions, we are unable to ship to the following countries: India, Russia, South Africa, and Ukraine.

In order to keep shipping costs down, our basic international shipping is done via USPS First Class International. This shipping method does not offer tracking via the USPS website and does not have a specified delivery period. It is not available in all countries. Typical delivery times are 2-4 weeks for delivery, however, shipping to some countries may take longer. Please choose the appropriate shipping method for your country/region as MEE Professional does not guarantee delivery for untracked shipping methods. For quickest and safest service, please use FedEx, DHL, or USPS Priority Mail.

FedEx International Priority:
Time-definite delivery typically in 1, 2 or 3 business days. Reach major cities in Europe by noon typically in 2 business days. From the U.S. to more than 220 countries and territories.

FedEx International Economy:
Time-definite delivery typically in 2 to 5 business days (typically 2 or 3 business days to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico). From the U.S. to more than 215 countries and territories.

MEE typically ships orders within 1-2 business days. Orders shipped by methods that do not offer tracking are the customer’s responsibility from the time of shipment. Please make sure your address is correct in our system and use the notes section to include any special shipping instructions. If you are uncertain as to the reliability of local delivery, please use a tracked shipping method such as EMS or FedEx International.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for information.

Do you ship to my country?
We ship to many countries around the world. However, some countries are restricted due to a large rate of lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Once you place a product in your cart, you can see the list of countries we ship to in the dropdown and can enter your delivery location for an estimated shipping cost.

We are looking to expand our retailers worldwide, so if we are not locally available in your country, please ask your local PRO audio and music instrument stores to carry MEE products!

Does USPS Priority guarantee delivery within 1-3 days?
USPS typically delivers Priority Mail packages in 1-3 business days but the time frame is not guaranteed.

Which shipping service should I choose if I want to get my order in 1-3 days?
We recommend choosing FedEx Overnight shipping as they provide the best guarantee for delivery. USPS Priority mail does not guarantee a time frame.

To ensure that we ship out your product on the same day you ordered it, we recommend placing your order before 2 pm and giving us a call to make sure we ship it on the same day. During the holiday season, give us a call before placing your order to ensure same day shipping is possible.

USPS tracking shows delivery, but why haven’t I received my package?
If you did not receive the package on the date indicated by USPS tracking, USPS recommends the following:

  • Looking for the package somewhere near your front door or asking your neighbors. Sometimes, postal workers leave packages near doorsteps and not near residential post office boxes. Also, a well-meaning neighbor might have taken your package inside their house for safekeeping or for protection against the rain or other bad weather.
  • Contacting USPS at 1-800-ASK-USPS or contacting your local Post Office directly and explaining that you have delivery confirmation, but no package was actually delivered, and ask them to start a tracking investigation to discover the whereabouts of your missing package.
  • Contacting the USPS Track and Confirm customer service office at 1-800-222-1811.

What happens if my order was returned as "Undeliverable"?
If your order was returned to us as 'Undeliverable', you will be notified via email. Please provide us with an alternate shipping address. If no response is given for 30 days, your order will be cancelled and refunded according to our Returns Policy.
